It’s been 35 years since Master Chef Norbert Schulz and his long-time business partner, Brigitte Guehr, first opened a restaurant in Santa Barbara, and no one could have known, least of all Norbert and Brigitte, that his eponymous first offering “Norbert’s” would set in motion a career that would transform Santa Barbara’s dining landscape forever.
The NOOK, a new restaurant by Master Chef Norbert Schulz, is open in the Funk Zone in Santa Barbara.
Logo Solution:
One of the simpler inherent logo design solutions – the middle fork prong bent slightly to the left forms the letter N in the black negative space for the name of the restaurant and for chef Norbert himself. It also reflects his off-center, not so middle of the road, top-notch approach.
