Process
Every project starts in a sketchbook. Long before anything reaches the computer, ideas get worked out in pencil, loose, quick, and plentiful. The guiding principle in the studio has always been simple: keep your sketches loose and your concepts tight.
Most of the early time on a project goes into research and sketching a wide range of directions. Once a concept starts to take shape, the work moves to the computer for refinement, and a round or two of revisions with the client helps narrow things down to a final mark or image that's ready to go out into the world.
Whether the project is a brand-new logo, a refresh of an old one, an illustration for a special story, or a graphic design piece that needs some personality, it all starts the same way, with a conversation and a sketchbook. Get in touch to start the process.
