"Surf Type" is an acrylic painting on canvas measuring 60" x 24". As a graphic designer, I love nostalgic typography and logo design, especially the design era of the 30s and 40s. This old san serif font worked out nicely to create this surfboard logo image with boldness and charm. The process involves traditional Offset Printing colors of CMYK colors - Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black. I paint in layers and refer to this method as Offset Painting, together with Paint Blotting.
Each fine art piece is an original acrylic creation, meticulously hand-painted. It showcases delightful details like underpainting pencil sketches and etched markings from the paint's wet stage. The artwork is personally signed on both the front and back, and comes with wired hardware for hanging.
